A Manifestorium Of An Inward Nature

What are you to make of your life when labeled as only what you appear to be? Truth does not always conquer evil, and in your own way you must deal with what you cannot control. It’s not so much you don’t care, rather wholly you do. A lie discouraging enough to keep you silent but a truth powerful enough you bring to speech. Amongst the wicked workings of you know you.

Don’t lose sight of who you are…

Prefer to listen? Hear my reading of the reflection aloud.

Why Does Wickedness Happen?

“That’s a good question. Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?”

Which of the two do you perceive? Assess this carefully and see. Is it by the chances of this life one is situated on the opposite end of a morally fair advance, or by intention they are to corrupt the good standing of the social world? Many apparently clearly distinct the two so well, with sound appraisals to what fancies their belief and rejoicing relative to sentiment. To be glad and grateful in what separates us from living — is not death the greatest of cruelties? Yet no one mourns the wicked.

Before your own time it existed. Practices of a nature that swindled the heart and out of sight, conceived both good, and something lesser of the sort. There is a culpability in navigating the two, and something of innocence to be born from it. Those who come forth from such entanglements — how are they to be treated as a consequence of their making? Who are they to be when reviled and shunned?

Quite Impossible To Describe

“No one should be scorned, or laughed at, or looked down upon, or told to stop jabbering and keep quiet…”

Such wonder makes way for a nature within: a social perfection, a standing alone, a longing for more but quieted hope. Glimpses of your true self emerge most in what you can’t control. A gift in disguise, and the many years you have waited, for a gift of your own to appear. A good of your own to make, and others to make of it, in their own time.

There is a moral failure that comes from human judgement. People condemn, label, and misunderstand others under the guise of righteousness and fair play. Is this hypocrisy sent to try you or simply the consequence of the depravity of man? Know the greatest teaching of light is its standing amongst dark times. When disturbed by the distresses of vain intention, search your own heart and see how it grieves, therein lies a calling. One remarkable, absolutely remarkable.

Something Bad

“You find if you make it discouraging enough, you can keep anyone silent.”

For many are the pointings to the happening of wrong, and ever more, the ones who know not where it begins. With the loudest cries to be among the silenced – dare to preach. A speaking to the unspoken amongst the advance of collective apathy, among a people where complacency is the virtue, and disenchantment the decency.

Are people to blame for what they unquestionably welcome? Pend your curiosity and implore what peaks your mind’s workings. For your heart may very well be enough to make good a quieted mind and rise above what has fallen asleep. Where there once passed blank thoughts and meaningless intention, can come the pleasant surprise of a goodness unmade.

Thank You For Having Faith In Me

“I’ll say this much, she doesn’t give a twig what anyone thinks.”

“Of course she does. She just pretends not to.”

Step out of the shadow and into the light, have them see what you have always seen. A mockery, a fool, but that is not you, despite what they make believe. A taking of heart, their own misgivings, your pain is not to be deceived. When you idly standby, you perpetuate the lie, you’re as good as the making of the deed. Draw forward and take the stance, strike the pose, join the dance. Leave them not alone in their pain, make way for good today.

See them in their brokenness, extend an earnest hand. We all deserve more than to be alone; from tears of ache to shuffles of joy. And here’s the strange thing, your life could end up changing, when you’re dancing through.

Know it is never your fault, for the passage of hatred from one heart onto yours, is a falling of theirs and not your own. Extend forgiveness and mercy, not spite and rejection. It was and always will be the milk flower’s fault. To know a friend and companion, for them to see the beauty in you, the one clandestinely apparent, scarily it can bring you to tears.

I Didn’t Mean To Scare You

“You think I want to be this way, you think I want to care this much? I know that my life would be much easier if I didn’t care, but…”

Is not the full expression of what you are called to do, love? Do you not all deserve a chance to love and in turn, be free? Knowing such a thing is hard to achieve when caged by distortions we have mistaken as truth. Yet despite the world, there flickers an unction within.

Of this you can’t help, and in time, it may be something that is meant to help others too. To meet the truth of who you really are is, for some, a waking to a life never known; for others, the quiet mourning of one that can never be. Be attuned enough, and you’ll come to understand: dreams are only meant to be dreamt so far.

In faith you muster, and in faith you receive. It comes all at once — the quiet chance to make good. In your earnestness, seek not to prove but reveal; not to rise above, but to rest aboard what you’ve been invited to. There is nothing to gain in striving but only to lose the stillness in being — so just be.

Everyone Deserves The Chance to Fly

Be weary of the stories you hear, be not lost in the glamour you see. The staging attractive, the truth but tragic, with evil discovered piece by piece. All show and lies for the one in the tower, an army of spies for the man with no power. A home to be had, a choice to be made. A dream comes to pass, the other a position to play.

And you don’t want it, you can’t want it. For what good is the world if the making of who you are is lost along the way? Hinder not the change from within, and trust what speaks far beyond what’s presented. Make real what you have felt but have not seen. For no love should come at a cost and better you fly than to be lost.

Entirely possible is it for you to be everything you think you are, and your life has shown you to be. Unlimited. With a full assurance of hope, it is a potential unlimited. Live not to regret. Take aim to a knowing of bliss. Unhand what brought you down. Fly free from the constraints of the blinded. Let no one, not a single wayward being, ever bring you down.

To The Believer

No light is to remain under the basket, for its place is the lamp stand. Awaken the empty mind and speak to the tainted hearts, be that which brightens a darkened room. Lead a posture of change, despite what they think, and soon they will see so much more.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16
